The Big Day - Anna and Andy

Well...here they are my 3 bridesmaids to be!

Here is a little more info about each of them, their likes & dislikes and how they know me - the bride to be.

Nic Pritchard

Nic I have known Nic since I was about 9 or 10. She moved to the same Primary School as me (we were both about 9) and we became friends from then on. We went to each others houses after school, playing with Snugglebums, rippa skippa’s, my little pony’s, Sindy’s etc (I’m sure everyone from the 80’s remembers these toys). In addition to this both of us were avid fans of the one and only Jason Donovan and you could often hear Jason’s album ‘Ten Good Reasons’ being played around Abermorddu and Caergrwle!! We were both big Kylie & Jason fans and I was always envious of Nic’s bright pink ‘Kylie & Jason’ jumper from Vera’s Wool shop in Caergwrle. If anyone’s interested I have a video to prove it existed!!

Nic We then went onto the ‘big school’ and it wasn’t until the 5th year and 6th form that we started to venture out on nights at the ‘Tivoli’ nightclub in Buckley, Rosies in Chester and many nights out in Llanfynydd (I don’t expect many of you will of heard of this place!)….anyway needless to say all of our adventures have secured a strong friendship!! We have since been on a fair few foreign holidays together... Cala D’or, Magalluf, Benidorm, Fuengirola & Salou (to name but a few).....coupled with night’s out in Manchester thrown in for good measure aswell.

As you can probably tell Nic & I know each other pretty well and she has been a really good friend to me over the years. I am really glad that she agreed to be my bridesmaid and I am glad that she will be there on the morning of my wedding day to help me prepare, make me laugh …..and most importantly drink a few glasses of champagne with me!

Emma Hancock

Emma I have known Emma since I was 11, when I joined Castell Alun Secondary School. We were both in the same Tutor group and got to know each other discussing serious issues such as Jason Donovan’s favourite food & who was the fittest member of Take That!!

I always remember going to Emma’s house in Leeswood when we were about 17/18 and we would get ready to go to Rosie’s in Chester and would have a few drinks in Emma’s bedroom upstairs before her Dad drove us into Chester. Her Mum wouldn’t let us leave the house until we had eaten packets full of biscuits and crisps……to soak up the alcohol that we had been drinking in Emma’s room!! We both took trips to stay with each other when we were at Uni and yet again there were more alcohol fuelled adventures!! Nowadays you can normally find us with a big bottle of wine and a nice meal out in Chester catching up on what has happened since we last met!!

It seems like I have known Emma forever and she is a friend who I will never lose touch with. Thanks for agreeing to be there on my big day Emma and just make sure that I don’t drink too many glasses of champagne on the morning of the wedding otherwise we will have to ask your mum to call round with the Crisps and biscuits to soak up all of the alcohol!!!

Ceri Roberts

Ceri Ceri is my Mum’s best friend’s daughter and she is like a cousin to me. She lives in Bethel, Near Caernarfon (North Wales for anyone still not having a clue where that is!!) There is an 11 year age gap between us but most of the time you really couldn’t tell.

A few years ago, Andy & I, Ceri’s family & my family went away to Nerja and shared a massive villa with a swimming pool. Most days Ceri & I could be found in the swimming pool playing ‘Water Olympics!!’- you wouldn’t have believed that I was 24 years old at the time if you could have seen me in that pool!

I am really glad that Ceri agreed to be my bridesmaid and I will never forget when I asked her to be my bridesmaid because she said ‘Are you sure you want me to be your bridesmaid?!!’ – she looked totally shocked. Well, I am sure that I want Ceri there on my big day – undoubtedly she will be a calming influence on the whole day!! Thanks Ceri for agreeing to be my bridesmaid and just to clarify……yes I definitely want you to be my bridesmaid!!
